Growing up as part of an immigrant family from Hai Phong, Vietnam; and witnessing the changing tides of my hometown San Francisco from gentrification…
I experienced a life of constant arrivals and departures. People came and left, shaping how I understood love. Over the years, I've fallen deeply, sometimes loving
people who couldn't love me back, sometimes feeling jealousy and insecurity in the spaces between us.
There were moments when love felt uneven, or when it blurred into lust, or when it was present but unspoken, held back by boundaries we could not cross.
This album is a reflection of all those shades: love in its purest, messiest, most complicated forms.
"All Kinds of Love" is the result of years of searching, feeling, and trying to capture those emotions through my production and songwriting.
